Woo hoo how exciting is this? As I type our new bedroom suite is arriving. The guys in the delivery truck are out front right now bringing in our set. Just a sec!
Okay I am back and how quickly joy turns to frustration. So the guys delivered the bed and scratched the headboard bringing into the house and cracked the surface of the dresser. Seriously this is what they do for a living and they damaged the furniture bringing it into the house! We are calling now to get it all replaced. When you pay that kind of money for a new suite, it should arrive undamaged so you can enjoy it. It is one thing if we scratched it by accident but quite another when Sears who is delivering it, damages it upon delivery. My guy is on the phone right now getting it replaced and determining when a new set can be delivered. I am upset but only mildly so, I think, mostly because I completely expect Sears to fix this problem. And after the incredibly boring day I had at work today, this is a picture perfect ending to an otherwise pitiful day. Signing off to go sulk and be annoyed!
