HURRAY, the cookbook is now available for sale!

I have incredibly exciting news today!!  We have spent the entire weekend at the house getting ready for the move next week.  Tonight I found myself at the airport waiting for my flight to Chicago and I received a text message from a good friend of mine telling me that he had just bought a copy of my cookbook!!! I had to read the text message twice I was so surprised.  I didn’t expect the cookbook to available for sale until the end of May or maybe the third week of May at the earliest.  So sure enough my friend Tara and I went online in the airport departure lounge and there it was, for sale!!!!!! I almost squealed right there in the airport, and there listed in book right up is my company Millstone Press!! It was almost surreal.  I immediately phoned my guy and squealed on the phone with him.  What is it with this cookbook and me being in Chicago for work when major events happen?  I was in Chicago when the final proof arrived and now here I am in Chicago when I discover it is available for sale!!!!  We laughed and he gave me all his congratulations on the phone; I wish I was home with him to share this exciting moment.  It figures that I would be flying to Chicago and away for two days for work just when this happens.  Everyone traveling with me for work bought a copy from their laptops in the airport; too crazy is this new world of ours.   I don’t even have my distribution list finalized for the press release thinking I had another three weeks to work on it.  Suddenly everything has sped up again and on the plane on the way here to my hotel room I made a quick list of all the things I need to do just so I can get the press release out and start generating some interest in the cookbook!  I will be hounding the people in the office in marketing once I get back for ideas on how to get people talking about the cookbook.  And I just launched my website to accompany the cookbook.  Too crazy, wow, all of a sudden it is all coming together!!!
