What a crazy lucky day I have had. The other day I bought a ticket for the 50/50 draw in our office which raises money for the United Way. And today I won! I am now the lucky recipient of over two hundred dollars from the pool. Woohoo. Later in the afternoon I received notice that our gifts from the Achievement Club for work that my guy and me went on to Los Cabos in April. So by the end of the day, we had our new luggage, Victornix luggage, a suitcase and a leather duffel bag. They are so beautiful and now we can get rid of our old luggage. So since I was on a roll, off I went on the way home and bought myself a lottery ticket!
I finished the Kindle version of the cookbook and loaded it to Amazon for sale. It should be available tomorrow morning, yippee. Another thing off my to do list. Now I am thinking I have to convince Rachel Ray to try my cookbook on her show and maybe even have me on to help prepare some recipes from it. What do you think? Do you think she will buy the idea? One can dream. I have my press release for Father's Day loaded to the distribution system and ready to release on Friday. I am giving the newspapers three weeks to prepare their recommendations for Father's Day and I hope I make it to their lists! Keep your fingers crossed.
