Off to Chicago

Yesterday was a pretty nice day.  We got up and started putting up all the new curtains and dressing the beds with the new comforters and pillows we bought.  Honestly our bedroom looks gorgeous. Now I just have to find some end tables and the room will be complete.  Suddenly the house is looking near done!  In the afternoon we went and enjoyed a family birthday party at my guy’s brother’s place, it was his birthday and his son’s.  It was so funny to watch a 17 year old obviously enjoying his birthday but trying to look nonchalant and carefree in front of his buddies when the cake came out.  All in all a good way to finish the weekend.  Today I am off to Chicago on a six o’clock flight.  I am in Chicago for four days this week.  I don’t like this feeling of being away from guy two weeks in a row.  It is the longest we have been apart since we met.  Totally not loving it.  And I am a little sick which is not helping things; I have a feeling it is going to be a really long week. Deep breath just to survive it.
